i think that the six day war has shown the arab countries the strength of israel. 40 years ago israel was attacked by the arab/egyptian forces. israel stood up to those forces even though their country is so much smaller. israel did not suffer a defeat against such forces which shows how strong they are and how well trained they are.
i think that they were stronger than the attackers expected because only about 20 years before, the jews suffered the pain and the tragedy of the holocaust. this was a dreadful event where millions of jews were shot, gased,starved and even burnt. i think that this helped them moraly and that they would stand up to anything that comes against their country in order to not suffer such a painful tragedy again.
i also think that this can be proved because not too long ago israel were attacked by lebanon and again they fought and found no defeat.
although it is only a small country, i think that israel has a strong army.
